Very interesting book about the Keto Diet。 Many personal stories of how this diet helped his family and patients, as well as some pretty compelling research statistics。 Great meal plans。 I listened to this audiobook from my library and as soon as I finished the audiobook, I immediately ordered a hardback book for reference and to have for meal plans and recipes。

Very informative and enlightening。 The information Dr。 Axe provided about using the Keto Diet to beat cancer was interesting, although I’m not sure I would rely on diet alone if faced with cancer。 There were a lot of supplements mentioned in the book, which was a bit overwhelming。 I probably should have taken notes…and probably would’ve annotated the book IF it wasn’t a library book。 Either way, the book was very informative and I am excited to live a ketogenic lifestyle! #LibraryBook

It’s a good reference guide for anyone who wants to incorporate the keto diet into their life。 Instead of reading it from cover to cover (as it can get repetitive), I would recommend reading the first section, then focusing on the areas that apply to you, and keeping the book handy for recipes and meal plans。 Even if you disagree with the “science” referenced in the book, there’s nothing fundamentally wrong with eating better, incorporating more diverse nutrients, and getting more sleep。

The recipes have ingredients as well that I have never seen。 Arrowroot powder, bone broth powder, etc。 Given that you also have to focus on organic and specific options, I believe the diet would also be very expensive。 I am all for a better way。 But not when it impacts so many other things negatively。 I still like the idea of keto, but I like the idea of all-natural eating better。 Less impact on my heart。 Hopefully, that plan will work。 For anyone who does follow this diet plan, I wish you luck and maybe message me to let me know how it goes, how you feel, and how expensive it is。 。。。more

Most of this is true with regard to his alternative treatment。 As a 20+ RN I can say with confidence it’s a bit extreme for most people。 However, this is an excellent diet for cancer pts。 Most people just need less carbs。 But not min carbs。
